Ken (puntium) > Qian's favorite: Takoyaki. Small pieces of octopus cooked into small balls of fried batter. A round octopus pancake if you will.
Ken (puntium) > Swan boats at the Ueno park.
Ken (puntium) > "Shinobazu-no-ike", in the Ueno park in Tokyo. Not much of a lake as you can see.. it is overrun by this vegetation.
Ken (puntium) > The commercial alley that leads from the main gate to the main temple.
Ken (puntium) > Main gate of sensou-ji, at Asakusa in Tokyo.
Ken (puntium) > The porcelains covered bridge at the entrance of Oo-kawachi-yama.. A town deep in the mountains of Kyushu where people have been making ceramics for hundreds of years.

Apparently, the original technology was brought to Japan through captive Korean artisans, who were brought to this remote location so that they could not escape.
Ken (puntium) > A crazy, abandoned factory building we found on the side of the road as we drove around the outer edge of north west Kyushu (the southernmost of Japan's main islands.)
Ken (puntium) > A small castle in Hirado. The inside was a museum.
